  • ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper

  • Chopped the vegetables: On a chopping board chopped all the vegetables like green bell pepper, red bell pepper, sticks of celery, and a bunch of green onions. chopped the vegetables
  • Place the cooking pan on the stove and add butter: Place a large pan on the stove. Then, turn on the stove and heat the pan. Add two sticks of butter to the hot cooking pot. Lower the stove heat and allow them for melting.

  •  Cook chopped vegetables with butter: After melting the butter, add the chopped vegetable to the butter. Allow the vegetable to saute for 20 minutes.

  • Add chopped garlic: After 20 minutes of sauteing the vegetable, chopped four cloves of garlic, and add them to the vegetable. Add chopped garlic
  •  Add the season:  Add seasoning and salt to add flavor to the vegetable. You need to add 1 tbsp of Cajun or creole seasoning, ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper, and ¼ tsp of salt. Spine that around for 10 minutes.

  • Add all-purpose flour: Now, keep the vegetable on one side of the pan and add 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour into the liquid butter of the pan. Blend the flour with the butter with a wooden cooking spoon. Once the flour looks creamy, mix the vegetable with them. Blend all of them and allow to cook for another 30 minutes. Keep stirring them occasionally to avoid the burn to the bottom of the pan. Cook down all in one consistency.

  • Heat the water and add them with vegetables: Take 2 cups of water in a measurement cup and heat them in the microwave. After 30 minutes of cooking, add hot water inside the pan. Then Blend the vegetable with the water.

  • Add Crawfish: After mixing the water with vegetables, add 2 pounds of Louisiana Crawfish. Stir them well and add the rest of the hot water with them. Now, cover the pot and let them simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir them about once every five minutes to prevent scorching. Stirring constantly until the mixer becomes gravy or deep brown.
