  • Prepare The Seasoned Flour:  First. You have to combine all the Seasoned Flour ingredients in a bowl, whisk to combine, and set aside.

  • Prepare the onions:  Next, you have to cut each onion into vertical wedges. Be careful not to cut through the onion to keep the bottom intact. Separate the layer slowly and remove the onion core.

  •  Prepare The Batter:  Take a large bowl and add the cornstarch, flour, garlic salt, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk it to combine. Add in the beer and mix until well-combined.

  • Fry The Onions: Then take onions and coat them with seasoned flour. After that dip them in the batter. Shake softly to remove excess batter. Heat up the oil and fry the onions for 1½ minutes on each side. Until both sides are golden brown.
