This dish comprises chicken breasts coated in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs and then deep-fried, giving them a crispy exterior and tender interior.

Then it’s topped with secret creamy sauce and cheese and baked in a crispy crust, giving it a delicious and satisfying flavor. Isn’t it simple? It is just it sounds.

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless chicken breast ( big size)

  • 1 cup milk (½ pint)

  • ½ cup cheddar

  • 1teaspoon dijon mustard

  • 1 small onion

  • 2bay leaves

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ cup butter 

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs

  • 1 beaten eggs

  • Equipment You Will Need
  • Iron skillet

  • Oven

  • Plates

  • Saucepan

  • Baking tray

  • Serving plate

  • Ready the Sauce: Take 1 cup milk in a large jug, chop the onion and put them into the milk. Add 2 bay leaves, and ½ teaspoon black pepper. Give it a stir and leave for half an hour.

  • Ready The Chicken: Take the chicken breast and cut it in half to make it flatten. Cover it with wrapping paper and beat with a stick to make it more flatten.

  • Coat The Chicken: Take half a cup of flour, one beaten egg, and ½ cup of breadcrumbs on separate plates. First, dip the chicken breast in flour, then egg, and then in breadcrumbs. Keep it aside.

  • Cook The Sauce: Turn on the stove, put a saucepan and set the heat at medium-high. Add the butter and let it melt. Then pour the milk and keep stirring. Once it comes to a boil, add two tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 1teasooon dijon mustard, and keep stirring. Lower the heat to low, add some chopped cheese and continue cooking until the sauce gets thickened enough and the cheese melted properly.

  • Fry The Chicken: Once the sauce is done, take it out and put an iron skillet. Fill the iron skillet with enough oil to deep fry the chicken breast. Set the heat at medium-high and heat the oil, then set the heat at low and fry the chicken until it gets golden brown or cooked thoroughly. Flip and fry both sides well.

  • Ready The Chicken Parmo: Take the baking tray, line it with foil paper, and place the chicken. Now put a layer of sauce over the chicken breast, then another layer of cheese. Ensure the chicken breast is completely covered with cheese.

  • Bake The Chicken Parmo: Wear the hand gloves and put the baking tray in the preheated oven ( 350 degrees for 15 minutes) for 5 minutes or until the cheese melt. Once done take it out and let it chill for a few minutes.

  •  Serve: Transfer the chicken parm to the serving plate as per your need. Garnish with some parsley and shredded cheese and serve it with some french fries and salad.
