Making any dessert item is much easier than any other recipe. And here this fabulous olive oil drizzled cake needs just some basic ingredients like – seasonings, seasonal fresh fruits, whipped cream, flour, brown sugar with buttermilk, etc other additional elements. Those turn into a mixture and ensure delicious, mild moisture and a rich flavored olive oil cake.

Ingredients

  • Ricotta cheese – 1 cup.

  • Sugar- 1 cup.

  • Olive oil- half cup.

  • Lemon zest- 1

  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup.

  • Almond meal flour – 1 tsp.

  • Eggs- 3 large. 

  • Baking powder-  1 tsp

  • Baking soda- half tsp. 

  • Salt- a pinch of.

  • Tools

  • Combine ricotta cheese and olive oil: Take a large mixing bowl.  Put 1 cup of ricotta cheese and a half cup of olive oil. Mix them a little.

  • Add lemon zest: To get a lemon flavor, add a half tsp of lemon zest. Use a micro-plane to grind the zest.

  • Add sugar: Next, you need to add 2 cups of brown sugar and whisk them very finely as they are completely combined and all the little chunks are gone away.

  • Put 3 whole eggs: Now, crack 3 eggs and put the whole amount into the mix one by one. Whisk them again with a fork. Make them a fluffy mixture.

  • Add all flour items: Next, take another mixing bowl. Pour the 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of almond meal flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and a half tsp of baking soda with a pinch of salt. Mix them finely. Then. Transfer them into the wet mixture. Combine again.

  •  Go for the baking process: Next, you need to go through the baking process. Take a nine-inch springform pan and grease it with a tsp of butter. Then pour the batter into it.

  •  Bake and back: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the batter for 30 to 50 minutes. Bring the cake, when it gets dry texture and deep brown on the top.

  •  Let it cool: Now, place them on a cooling rack and let the cake cool completely.

  • Sprinkle sugar: Next, transfer the cake to a parchment paper baking sheet and sprinkle some white powder sugar on the cake top. Give some whipped cream toppings onto the lying top.

  • Serve: Start the decor very gently. Add some lemon slices for enhancing its fresh and mint flavors. Before serving, add a few mint green leaves to it. It gives an incredible fresh mint fragrance and green colors with a tart flavor. So, it’s now lightly fresh and delicious.

  1. Sounds like a nice recipe, but do you really mean to bake it at 200 degrees F? I presume you preheat as well, though I don’t see that indicated.
