  • Mayonnaise- 1 cup.

  • Dill pickles chopped – 3 tsp.

  • Lime juice – 1 tsp Chopped capers- 1 tsp.

  • Chopped dried dill – 1 tsp.

  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp.

  • Dijon mustard paste – 1 tsp.

  • Ground black pepper and salt- 1 pinch of.

  • Fish slices- 8-10 slices. 

  • Paprika powder- 1 tsp.

  • Old bay seasonings – 1 tsp.

  • All-purpose flour – 1.5 cup

  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.

  • Oil- 1 cup for frying fish.

HOW TO MAKE Long John Silvers Tartar Sauce Recipe

  •  Chop the dill pickles: First, we need to chop some dill pickles which are completely refrigerated and fresh. It adds some savory and sweet-sour flavors.

  •  Chop capers: Chop 2 tsp of capers. Adding thus capers, the sauce gets sour and brines more. Though it’s optional, I prefer this yummy ingredient to make the recipe more delightful.

  •  Combine with dill: Now, we need to add some fresh dried dill flavors. Chop some dried dill and place all ingredients into a bowl. Combine them all finely using a spoon.

  • Add Worcestershire sauce and lime juice: Add 2 tsp of lime juice and 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce. Don’t need to add a lot. It makes the taste its best.

  • Allow Dijon mustard: Now, allow 1 tsp of dijon mustard paste. It hits with the extra zest of the sauce. Highly recommended, stirring together until the mixture turns into a thick creamy sauce.

  • Sprinkle seasonings: Finally, sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper. The quite simple and delicious tartar sauce is ready to serve with additional crispy chicken or seafood items.

  •  Fry the fish: Next, heat the vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Let the oil heat enough to place the fish. Now, dip the fish into the batter and coat them completely. Put the battered fish into the deep oil. Fry them and flip up until they turn out golden brown and crispy textured.
