HOW TO MAKE Mcalister’s Autumn Squash Soup

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Celsius.Preheat the oven
  •  Peel and cut the butternut squash: Now, peel all the squash and cut them in a half. Then take out the seeds of all squash and cube them up. After cutting all the butternut squash wash them under running water and keep them aside. Peel and cut the butternut squash
  • Peel and cut the onion: Take two medium onions, then peel and quarter them up.Peel and cut the onion
  • Toss onion and squash: Now, on a baking tray place onion and squash. Then add 2 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp black pepper, and 2 tsp salt to taste. Combine them well with a spoon or hand and then put them inside a covered sheet tray.Toss onion and squash
  •  Bake the vegetable: Now place the tray inside the oven and let them roast for about 20 to 25 minutes.Bake the vegetable
  • Blend the vegetable: After 20 minutes, turn off the oven and take out the vegetable. Then allow them to cool down at room temperature and blend the vegetable in the blender or food processor.Blend the vegetable
  • Cook the soup: Place a large cooking pot on the stove and pour butternut and onion puree. Then for better taste and flavor, gradually add 15 oz pumpkin puree, 2 cups of vegetable broth, 1 ½ cup of Apple Cider, and 1 ½ cup of Heavy Cream. Now, stir them and Let the soup come to boil. Cook them on medium heat for about 10 minutes.Cook the soup
  • Add honey and spices: After having bubbled, add 2 tbsp honey, ½ tsp cinnamon, and ¼ tsp curry powder. Combine them with a wooden spoon and simmer for 10 minutes.Add honey and spices
