Ingredients

  • 100gm soften butter

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence.

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup flour

  • 1 tablespoon milk powder

  • 1 teaspoon cornflour

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

  • Tools
  • 1 large bowl

  • Pre-heated oven

  • Measuring cups

  • 1 Spatula

  • 1 Whisk

  • 1 Baking mould

  • parchment paper

How to make Stocks Bakery Pound Cake

  • Mix butter and Sugar: Take a large bowl and pour 100gm of softened butter into it. Remember, the butter will have to soften, not melted. Now pour ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence and ½ cup of powdered sugar into the bowl. Mix all three of the ingredient until it gets fluffy.
    Mix butter and Sugar
  • Add Eggs: You will need 2 eggs to make this pound cake. Take two eggs and add them into the mix one at a time. If you are a vegetarian and don’t want any animal products in your cake, you can use condensed milk instead of eggs. Now, whisk the batter until the eggs totally diminish and give it a shiny look.
    Add Eggs
  •  Add all the dry ingredients into the batter: Now slowly add ½ cup flour, 1 tablespoon milk powder, 1 teaspoon corn flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, and 1/8 teaspoon baking soda into that previously mixed eggs and butter. Gently whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until they are well combined and a lovely consistency is achieved.
Add all the dry ingredients into the batter
  • Pour the batter into a greased mold: Take a 6-inch-deep baking tray and brush it with a little melted butter to coat it completely. Put a piece of parchment paper underneath it if you want.

However, it will not be necessary for large quantities because we have added enough butter to keep it moist and juicy. Tap the mould on the counter a few times to give it a leveled surface. Now dip a spatula into normal water and create a line on the top of the mixture.
Pour the batter into a greased mold
  •  Bake the Cake: Place the mold on a sheet tray and bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 180c for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out with a few moist crumbs. If you don’t have an oven you can bake the cake in a preheated pan on low flame for 35 to 45 minutes.

    Bake the Cake
  • Unmold the Cake: After allowing the cake to cool for 15 minutes in the pan, carefully remove it from the pan with an offset spatula or a flat knife. With help from the parchment handles, carefully lift the cake out of the pan and lay it on a wooden tray to cool for another 20 minutes.
    Unmold the Cake
  • Cut the cake into pieces: Remove the parchment paper and throw it away. Now take a slicing knife and slice the cake in your preferred shape. To ensure the best texture and flavor, wrap the cake tightly in plastic wrap while it is still warm and place it somewhere cool to cool thoroughly, preferably overnight.

And it’s done! You can now enjoy this beautiful dessert whenever you want. This cake can be served as an evening snack or as an appetizer for your dinner. If you’re planning to bake it for your next family gathering, this soft and juicy cake will undoubtedly please your guests!
