Pappadeaux dirty rice tastes awesome like other food items from the same chain of restaurants in the United Kingdom. Dirty rice is a popular dish in the Philippines yet many people worldwide love it. It may contain rice, meat, chicken, and some spices with vegetables. 

Two types of seasoning are primarily used in making this rice. Cajun dirty rice contains bell papers, cayenne peppers, and others. You can make the cook the Pappadeaux dirty recipe in many ways. But I have picked a simple method where the main ingredients are chicken stock, pork sausage, and shrimp. You need to fry the sausage well first and add veggies and spices. Then, boil some long grain rice and add the shrimps and spices to complete the recipe.

Steps-How to Make Pappadeaux Dirty Rice Recipe

  •  Arrange the ingredients: It’s the first thing you should do. Arrange all the ingredients I have mentioned to get the delicious taste of rice.

  •  Put the sausage in a bowl: Bring out the fresh sausage from its package and keep them in the medium-size bowl.

  • Put oil in the pan: Take the olive oil, put a tablespoon of oil in the pan, and start heating the pan at medium-high heat.

  •  Fry the ground sausage: Cook the sausage with the heated oil and move the spud around slowly. Once the sausage loses its pink color, it will appear cooked.Fry the ground sausage
  •  Add the vegetables: After the sausage is satisfyingly cooked, you can add the veggies like celery, bell pepper, green onion and start moving the spud back and forth.

  • Add the bay leaf: Put a bay leaf into the rice and start moving your hand, and after a minute, put lead again. Then, wait for about 30 minutes, and your rice will be almost ready.

Notes

  • Avoid cooking the shrimp for too long because it will feel rubbery when you eat them. Also, you can use only chicken or pork sausage for seasoning according to your preferences.
