  •  Boil The macaroni: Take a medium-size pot, put it on the stove, fill half of it with water, and set the heat at a medium-high level. Add a little salt and oil and bring it to a boil. Oil won’t let the macaroni stick with each other, and you will get the perfect boiled macaroni to make the beefaroni.  Now add the macaroni and let it simmer for 12-15 minutes in low, medium heat. Don’t cover and cook; leave it like this.

  • Cook the Beef: While the macaroni is boiling, let’s cook the beef. Take a skillet to add olive oil or any cooking oil you want. Add the chopped onions, saute it for 20 seconds and add the grounded beef, salt, and pepper. Now saute the beef for 10-12 minutes or until it’s well cooked and turns brown. After the beef is cooked, it will leave moisture out, which means you will see some excess water in the pan.

  • Drain the Beef and Macaroni: While sauting the beef, you will see some water has come out; you don’t need to use this water, so just drain it. And after the macaroni is boiled, you will also see some extra water is remaining; you have to drain this as well. So drain both the macaroni and beef extra and keep them aside.

  •  Mix and make the beefaroni : Pour the tomato into a bowl, add sugar, and give it a good mix. Now take a big mixing bowl, add the boiled macaroni, cooked beef, chili powder, tomato mixer, and combine well.

  • Bake and Serve: Baking is totally optional; if you love cheese, you can follow it and not; it depends on your taste. Pour the beefaroni into a baking pan, add a layer of mozzarella cheese and bake it for 10-12 minutes or until cheese melt completely. Take out the baking pan from the oven, let it cool down, and serve on a serving plate.

I have mentioned the number of ingredients according to my need, as I have a big family. If you make this amount of beefaroni, you can serve it to your whole family, 5-6 people. But if your family is small, then some leftovers will be there. What to do with the leftover? Store them for later use.

Just place them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator. This way, you can store the beefaroni for upto 1 week. Take it out and microwave it for 2 minutes, and it’s ready to eat.

  •  You can use pasta shells or macaroni, whatever you want; it won’t make much difference. 
  • Saute the seasoning (garlic and onion) at a lower heat and let them break down slowly. This will hold the sweetness and ensure better flavor. 
  • Some of us love hot foods, so we just jump just after taking it out, but it’s not the right way to eat beefaroni. Let it chill for a minimum of 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the sauce will become a little thicker, and the spices will get time to leave yummy essence.
